The music in the video was very up beat. Even though I didn't know what he was saying, his accent sounded cool with the music.During the video, Juanes was playing the guitar. The speakers were floating in the air and pounding. There was also a guitar solo at the beginning that sounded good too.

Dream Vacation
If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to the Bahamas. I would go to the Bahamas because it is a tropical paradise. The waters are so clear and warm. I would also like to go here because I've never been out of the U.S. so I think that would be cool to travel out of the country. I go to the beach every year but it won't be the same as the Bahamas.While I'm there I want to go snokeling. I've always thought that would be cool to go underwater and explore. I want to swim with the dolphins while I'm there too. I'd also like to see the coral reefs. I want to dive into the deeper waters and swim with sharks. I also want to go sailboating and fishing. I don't want to be busy all the time though. I would relax on the beach a lot too. Article about Spanish-speaking country

Summary:
This article was about a coal mine in Mexico named Pasta de Conchos that exploded on February 19, 2006. Dozens of workers bodies are still buried hundreds of meters under the ground. The families want the remains of their loved ones to be recovered so that they can have a proper burial or memorial service. Some widows and families have been receiving pesos each month to compensate for their husband's income. The President of the country will not even speak to the grieving families. The mining company will not pay to have the bodies recovered because they say the water may be contaminated with HIV, hepatitis, or other diseases so it is not safe for rescuers.
Thoughts & Insights:
I think the mining company should recover the bodies for the loved ones of the victims. In the article it said how when any other explosion happened in Mexico all of the bodies were recovered except for this incident. That is not fair. They should dig and find the bodies. The company should also pay the families of the workers a lot more than what they are now.

Laura's First Blog Entry
This semester I hope to do well in all of my classes. I have heard Spanish 2 is hard so I hope I can keep up and get a good grade. I plan to stay organized and not procrastinate. In English 3 last semester we had to do blog posts. Our teacher would put a blog post up and we would usually have to read an article and answer questions on it. It could be a useful tool because it's easy way to do homework and learn more spanish.
